CAN I CHANGE OR CANCEL MY ORDER?
Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate for order changes once it has been submitted due to the fact that the crafting process immediately begins. However, we are pleased to attend to your inquiries to help with your decision-making process before purchases are made.
WHAT HAPPENS IF A BAG DESIGN SELLS OUT?
As the range of linings varies due to the selection process all 3940® products are handmade and produced in very small quantities. Generally, once a bag design is sold out it will not be restocked.
ARE THE COLOURS OF THE LININGS AND LEATHER STRAPS THE SAME AS THEY APPEAR ON THE WEBSITE?
We do our best to co-ordinate our photography to how our products look in real life. However, colours do tend to appear differently on different monitors, so we can not guarentee a 100% match in colours and texture.
WHERE DO OUR MATERIALS COME FROM?
All 3940® products are handmade and produced in-house at our Collingwood studio.
3940® salvages quality leather from trusted local suppliers and repurposes this leather for use with our offerings.
3940® salvages, re-purposes and sources all fabrics locally and are selected for their unique colours, patterns, and tactile sensibilities.
HOW DO I TAKE CARE OF MY BAG?
We recommend that you do not machine wash your bag as the eyelets may be subject to damage or damage to your machine. A periodic cleaning with a hose or damp cloth is all that is needed. We recommend unclipping your leather straps first to allow for easy cleaning access on the exterior and revserible side of the bag. Our antique brass hardware are also durable to weather and intenvise use, the antique look adds to the graceful aging of your product and should not be seen as imperfections. Our leather straps are carefully selected to age beautifully and little care is needed. To clean any of our leather items, we recommend using a soft, dry cloth to gently brush away surface dirt and grime.

At this current moment, we only cater to customisation in strap selections to meet the everyday bag you select. You also have the option to add an additional strap to your everyday bag for a more versatile use. Click here to explore the options.
DO YOU HAVE AN EXCHANGE POLICY?
We advise you to choose very carefully to ensure you purchase the correct bag, due to the nature of the business, once an order is made we immediately begin working on the product. Hence, an exchange will not be provided. However, If you need to update your order or shipping information, please email email@example.com with your order number and requested updates. If your order has not been shipped, we will do our very best to accommodate all order update requests.
